2008 Young Owners Club Sweepstakes Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 A.M. EST on May 15, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. on December 15, 2008.

3. Sweepstakes will be open to males/females, ages 16 to 25, with a valid driver's license as of May 15, 2008, who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Mustang Monthly and Mustang & Fords Magazines ("Sponsors") Mustangs Plus, YearOne, Competition Cams, TCI Automotive, Tire Rack, National Parts Depot, and Mustang Racing Technologies (all collectively "Prize Suppliers"), their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

4. Enter by filling out an official entry form available within the magazine issue, or at www.mustang monthly.com and www.mustangandfords.com, or by sending your name, address, date of birth, phone number, year/make/model of car, color of car, engine type, length of ownership, and primary use of car on a 3" X 5" card. Send your entry, along with a photo of your Ford vehicle, to YO Club Membership, Attn.: Young Owners Club Registration, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619, or e-mail the required information to yo.club@sourceinterlink.com. Entries must be received by dates listed in the Monthly Deadline, Drawing and Prize Schedule below (the "Schedule"). Multiple entries are not permitted. Only one entrant per entry. Sponsors and Prize Suppliers shall not be responsible for lost, late, mutilated or misdirected entries. Entry forms or requests that are printed by machine, mechanically reproduced, tampered with, illegible or incomplete are not eligible.

5. The sweepstakes will take place under the supervision of the Sponsors. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decision of the judges, whose decisions are final. The winners will be notified by mail or email by dates listed in the Schedule below for each drawing. To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, after December 16, 2008, to: Young Owners Club Registration, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619.

6. The Sponsors will randomly draw one winner each month from each drawing as indicated in the Schedule below. Each entry received is eligible for all subsequent drawings which have not yet taken place at time of receipt of entry. Each month's winner will be awarded the prize as indicated in the Schedule below. Odds of winning each drawing will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Sponsors and Prize Suppliers make no warranties with regard to the prizes. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions of prize allowed by winner, but Sponsors and Prize Suppliers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are not redeemable by winner for cash value.

7. Total approximate value of all prizes is $3,200.00.

8. All entries and requests become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Sponsors will have the right to photograph the winner. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name, picture, likeness and city and state of residence for purposes of trade, publicity or promotion for no additional compensation except where prohibited by law.

9. All entrants release the Sponsors and Prize Suppliers, their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or acceptance or use of any prize.

10. Prizes must be claimed by the dates listed below in the schedule below or a new winner will be chosen at the discretion of the Sponsors. At time prize is claimed, winner may be sent an affidavit of eligibility/publicity/liability release, which must be returned within the time frame specified before the prize, is awarded. Failure to execute and return any requested document within the time frame specified or return of notification or prize as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of the prize. An alternate potential winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Sponsors. All reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners. All taxes on all prizes are the responsibility of the winners.

11. Entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry in the event of a dispute. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsors with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Monthly Deadline, Drawing, and Prize schedule:

  • May 2008 entries must be received by May 15, 2008; drawing will be held May 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by May 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by June 13, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from Mustangs Plus.
  • June 2008 entries must be received by June 15, 2008; drawing will be held on June 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by June 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by July 14, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from YearOne.
  • July 2008 entries must be received by July 15, 2008; drawing will be held July 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by July 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by August 13, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from Competition Cams.
  • August 2008 entries must be received by August 15, 2008; drawing will be held August 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by August 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by September 13, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from TCI Automotive.
  • September 2008 entries must be received by September 15, 2008; drawing will be held September 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by September 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by October 14, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be $400 gift certificate from Tire Rack.
  • October 2008 entries must be received by October 15, 2008; drawing will be held October 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by October 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by November 13, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from National Parts Depot.
  • November 2008 entries must be received by November 15, 2008; drawing will be held November 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by November 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by December 14, 2008; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from Mustang Racing Technologies.
  • December 2008 entries must be received by December 15, 2008; drawing will be held December 16, 2008; prizewinner will be notified by December 30, 2008; prize must be claimed by January 13, 2009; one prize will be awarded; prize will be a $400 gift certificate from Mustangs Plus.
