2002 Las Vegas Pony Trail Event - Viva Las Vegas!

No, There Won't Be An Elvis Impersonator, But You Will Get A Southerner And Some Good Ol' Fashioned Fun

2002 Las Vegas Pony Trail Event Las Vegas Hilton

We are going to conduct a test. We are going to have a Pony Trail with no show. That's right-no show. But we are going to do it in what is arguably one of the biggest hot spots in the United States: Las Vegas. The trail will consist of our typical mix of Interstate and country roads and will begin and culminate in a visit to the automotive construction facilities of American icon Carroll Shelby.

Our scenery will be less green than many of us East Coasters or even West Coasters are used to. As far as the Vegas-area landscape is concerned, the description we have heard from many is "lunar." But we have grown quite fond of the landscape as well as the people. Having been there for the last six years during the months of October or November during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show at the convention center, we have grown fond of the area and the "lunar" sights. If you live close by-or even if you don't-we hope you'll crank up and attend.
