The NORC/SSCC is for automotive diversity of the highest order. All cars are gridded on the starting line in order of departure. In our 110-mph target-speed group, the assortment of cars was distinct, as our '69 Mustang followed a '69 Dodge Charger, painted in full Dukes of Hazzard General Lee livery, and a 50th Anniversary '03 Corvette convertible. One minute behind was an '00 Ferrari 360 Modena. Corvettes are the most popular cars in the NORC/SSCC events, usually followed by Dodge Vipers and Mustangs. View Related Article
