Freelance writer Frank Bohanan has been working on his '65 fastback for the better part of a decade. It sports a full Global West suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, Baer four-wheel disc brakes, and 16x7-inch '91-'93 5.0 Star wheels in a vintage five-lug pattern which, unfortunately, are no longer available. This was Frank's first trip down Highway 318 and his tricked-out '65 ran perfectly the whole time in the 120-mph class. He reported a smooth ride at 140 mph, the highest allowable tech speed for the 120-mph division. View Related Article
