Frank's '65 is modern 5.0 all the way. Converted about six years ago to 5.0 EFI power, the '92 5.0 short-block is topped with a pair of TFS Twisted Wedge cylinder heads and is fitted with a Comp Cams valvetrain. Other bits include an Extrude Honed Edelbrock Performer intake, a Pro-M mass air meter, a BBK 70mm throttle body, JBA headers, an MSD distributor, and an MSD 6AL ignition box. Originally, the conversion included an AOD trans, but Frank would rather row the gears himself so he installed a T5 earlier this year, sending power to a 3.25-geared 8-inch rearend.
