The big news for vintage Mustangs came from the Dynacorn International display, featuring a new '67 Mustang fastback body from the company's Classic Bodies division. Dynacorn's Larry Brogdin told us that the Mustang body is almost ready for production. In fact, the company is waiting on approval from Ford's licensing division before making the body available to anyone who wants to build a restomod or race car. Much of the sheetmetal, including the cowl panels (see "How to Replace a Cowl Panel," Nov. '06, p. 42), is already available separately for factory Mustang restorations. Based on Ford's approval, other Mustang bodies-including '65-'66 and '69-'70-will follow. Dynacorn International, 805/486-2612; www.dynacorn.com.
