Every car on track has to pass NorCal’s Tech Inspection to qualify for the track. Here, Joe Silva (left) and Dave Murray (right) check out a ’65 Mustang coupe. They suspected a possible bad lower control arm. The ball joint simply had a little play and was OK to run. On another car, they may have averted disaster when they discovered a loose nut securing the steering wheel. View Related Article
