 With Capri production ending...  With Capri production ending in 1986, ASC proposed swapping the ASC/McLaren package to the Mustang by building this '85 prototype to show Ford executives. Oddly enough, it's a four-cylinder car, unlike production ASC/ McLarens that had 5.0 engines.  Henry always has a selection...  Henry always has a selection of restorable McLarens in his "Restoration Row," along with unsalvageable parts cars in "Death Row."  You'll never see another nose...  You'll never see another nose like this. It's a prototype added to an '85 Capri. Also notice the Lincoln Mark VII headlights and Mustang hood.
