For the Producer, the Ring brothers started with a one-owner '65 fastback from California, then proposed the project, along with its budget, to owner Gary Bowers, who saw the car for the first time when it was displayed at the Mothers booth during last January's Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction.
Jim admits they went over-budget with the build. "We always try to out-do what we've done before," he says. "We'll laugh at some of the ideas we come up with. But when we start to run out of ideas, we'll go back to the ones we used to laugh at."
