While the kit includes the correct pipe tap required to thread the hole, you’re on your own for the 9/16-inch drill bit required to make the initial opening. A friend of ours used his 1/2-inch drill and the correct drill bit to make the hole for us. We then brought the housing back to our shop to tap the threads. View Related Article
