Besides replacement, there are several good reasons for removing the driprail mouldings. This Mustang was recently repainted, and if the mouldings had been removed before the paint job, the driprail could have been better cleaned and prepped for painting. Instead, old seam sealer and other “nasties” remain (arrow) with fresh paint over them. View Related Article
