Remove the rockers and pushrods from the heads, keeping them in order. You might be able to simply unbolt the headers from the heads (if there is clearance for your tools); otherwise, you will have to completely remove the headers. Unbolt the heads and carefully pull them free of the block. You might notice here that the timing cover is missing--well, we decided to put a hotter cam in at the same time.
