How To Replace Window Channels and Strips

This enables him to pull the channel down into the track for perfect seating. We suggest a light dressing of graphite lubricant or WD-40 in the channel to ensure smooth operation. With the door panel removed, Dave sprays the regulator with white lithium grease. The best combination is white grease and WD-40. If you roll up the window without clearing the strip, expect to damage the weatherstrip and paint. Walk the window up carefully using a screwdriver or putty knife for clearance. |  New Scott Drake window stops...  New Scott Drake window stops fit into slots in the door bottoms. Lubricate the stops with white grease and press them in. This keeps the window glass from going too low. |  To complete the window channel...
