How To Install White-Face Gauges
The original faces are retained with sheetmetal screws that can be removed with a small Phillips screwdriver.
All needles must be taken off gently with the special tool included in the kit.
Detach the face retainer, as shown. This piece prevents light leaks.
The gauge faces lift off, as shown.
Lift off the speedometer and tachometer faces.
Remove the odometer reset knob and speedometer needle rest.
The Speedware white-face gauges are a peel-and-stick affair and are easy to lay down.
Reinstall the speedometer and tachometer needles and rests. Gently press the needle onto the shaft, as shown. Make sure it's exactly at zero.
For this speedometer, BBK Performance calibrates for 0-200 mph. Our advice is not to bury this speedometer on the freeway when it's time to road test. The company also has 0-160-mph versions.
This is how white-face gauges should look once screws are installed.
Reverse the removal procedure, and the result should look like this. What a difference white-face gauges make.
