The hood structure is exceptional with a latch incorporated into the architecture, which makes it as durable as a steel hood.
Jim's Classics & Hot Rod's fiberglass is a cut above due to how they make it. "We use only ISO fiberglass resins," Jim Reeves tells us, "not the cheaper resins a lot of manufacturers use." Jim adds that ISO polyester resin has a much greater resistance to heat, which means it won't shrink or warp over time. It has much higher shear strength than cheaper fiberglass. And this really is about cost because you get what you pay for when it comes to fiberglass body panels. Durability is unmatched.

Structural soundness and integrity of fit show when it's time to hang the Stang-A-Holics fiberglass. This is the easiest fiberglass we've ever worked with because all of the factory attachment points are there and won't pull out. Fender match and gapping is perfect.
