Electric Fuel Pump Fuel Ump And Tank Removed

The fuel pump and fuel tank sending units are removed the same as with classic Mustangs. A stamped steel retaining ring holds both pump and sending unit, which are two different assemblies in '86-'04 Mustangs. The ring is turned counterclockwise for removal and clockwise for installation. Use a screwdriver against the ring tabs and mallet, as shown, to loosen the ring. View Related Article
