24 The beltline felt on the inboard side of the quarter-panel is stapled to the quarter-trim panel from the factory. The old way of doing this repair was to simply rivet the new felt into place. The new kits, such as this one from CJ Pony Parts, come with a carbide drill bit and new staples to do the job correctly. The drill bit makes quick work of the task, then you simply slide the staples into place and bend them over with pliers. Looks just like factory! View Related Article
