Shelby Taillight ConversionMustang Project has just released a new Shelby Taillight Conversion Kit for '65-'66 Mustangs. The kit allows the conversion from the factory taillight assemblies to sequential Shelby-style taillights without cutting or modifying the rear panel. The Shelby taillight panels install in place of the original taillight housings and wire into the existing harness. Constructed with solid die-cast and stainless steel, the panes are fitted with lens and bezels made from the original Ford tooling. Installation requires less than an hour and is completely reversible. Super-bright LEDs are used for the sequential operation. Kill/Theft SwitchFlaming River's new Battery and Alternator Kill Switch (PN FR1013) is actually two switches in one. Using a spring-loaded buss-bar design, the switch addresses the need to interrupt both the battery circuit and charging circuit. This is particularly crucial in motorsports applications, but is also an ideal theft deterrent by completely shutting off the electrical system to the starter and ignition. It's ideal for storage to eliminate battery drain and to keep the battery in top operating condition. However, the design continues to provide power to clocks, radio/stereo systems, and onboard computers. The Battery and Alternator Kill Switch uses a unique "twist-on/push-off" arming system.
