Lastly, you’ll find several Phillips head screws retaining the forward portion of the B-pillar trim to the body. Of importance on the ’87-’93 body is the middle and lower screws because their lengths differ. The longer screw is used in the middle hole, shown here. If you install this screw in the lowest hole, it will penetrate the sheetmetal in the door jamb. We made that mistake on a freshly painted Fox once, but only once! Gently pull the edge of the B-pillar trim off the gasket’s spine.
