We were skeptical when we first heard about electric power brakes. What does that mean? First of all, you must know that ABS Power Brake's electric power brake kit was awarded Best New Product at the 2005 Hot Rod and Restoration Show in Indianapolis. It's a completely electric hydraulic system offering the highest braking pressure in the industry.
The ABS Electric High-Power Master Cylinder Kit can be retrofitted to Mustangs regardless of model year. You can install it in a '65-'78 restomod. It can be retrofitted into a '79-'04 Fox-body, although it is not designed for antilock braking systems. The electric braking system requires no vacuum assist, which makes it perfect for Mustangs with low intake manifold vacuum due to a lumpy camshaft. Also, it doesn't require a beltdriven hydraulic or vacuum pump. You can mount the pump anywhere on your Mustang, in plain sight or completely hidden. The greatest advantage of the ABS Electric High-Power system is the combination of safety and stealthy high-performance braking.
