This is the electric hydraulic pump (also known as the power booster). You can mount it anywhere in your Mustang; in fact, as far away as the trunk if you want. Ideally, you will mount it on the firewall behind the dashboard. Other possible locations include framerails, floorpan, strut rod frame gussets, beneath the battery on the inner fender apron, or near the master cylinder. View Related Article
