This is the Autolite/Motorcraft 4300 carburetor, introduced in '67 to replace the 4100 shoebox. The 4300's approach was cleaner emissions to keep the feds happy. It can be a very temperamental carburetor. There were a lot of changes to this carburetor between '67 and the mid-1970s when production ended. View Related Article
