Mustang Modern Modifications Fatman Fabricators Power Suspension Module
Power Suspension Module
When the original sheetmetal structure has been subjected to three or four times the original horsepower and rational stress limits have been far exceeded, Fatman Fabricators provides a fresh idea with its Power Suspension Module for '65-'66 and '67-'70 Mustangs. With an integral tubing structure for mounting the suspension and engine, the PSM takes on all the force without relying on the overworked sheetmetal. The PSM structure bolts in for location, then is welded to the unibody, adding support to the cowl. Existing holes are used for positioning after excess sheetmetal is cut away, which means installation requires fabrication and welding skills. The use of front-steer rack-and-pinion steering and strut-type suspension provides space for Modular engines, including the super-wide 4-cam. View Related Article
