These wheels and tires have never been disassembled. They came off a ’69 Boss 429 with less than 100 miles that was made into a drag car. Assembly line workers sprayed the orange paint code (for Boss 429) on the wheel after the tire was mounted to create the overspray pattern. The reddish-orange stamping at the bottom left is the shipping label, from Goodyear in Akron, Ohio, to Kar Kraft in Brighton, Michigan. Notice the staggered shock plate finished in bare steel.
