9 Once the window guide brackets are out of the way, you can commence the really fun aspect of the Fox quarter window repairs--the lower guide rod mount. The guide rod is secured to the mount via a retaining pin and cotter pin. It's a tough area to work in, so we suggest unbolting the guide rod mount bracket for access. Once you have the pin removed, you can grab the guide rod and carefully pull it up and out of the window assembly. View Related Article
