10 Since there's really no way to cram a camera into the quarter-panel, we reassembled the guide rod mount and guide rod outside the car for a clearer picture of what's going on. As you can see, the guide rod mount bracket is retained by two fasteners (studs in the body with 11mm nuts) and then the rod is secured to the guide mount via a through pin and retained by a cotter pin.
