Website Navigation Tips

Tip of the Month
To narrow down the list of articles in any index, click on the Make, Model & Year drop-down (which will intially say "All Makes."). For example, click on the All Makes text to reveal the list of Makes. Select the one you want to view, and the Model list for that make will appear. Then select the model, and a list of years will appear. When you have selected the items you want, click on the "Go!" button.

You can click on the "Go!" button at any stage of the process. Thus, if you wish to see all Ford stories--but only Ford--click on "Go!" after selecting Ford from the Make drop-down. If you wish to see all Ford Falcon stories, click on "Go!" after selecting your Make and Model. To see only 1962 Ford Falcons, click on "Go!" after selecting from all three drop-downs.

This function allows you to also see stories from our sister sites, so you can find stories about Fords even from www.chevyhiperformance.com.

Tip of the Month:
Anytime you wish to return to the home page, just click on the magazine logo. It's available from anywhere on the site!

Tip of the Month: You can upload your own photos and description of your car in the Readers’ Rides section! Click on Cars & Events in the left navigation bar, then select Readers’ Rides from the drop-down menu. Click on the Submit Photo button on the lower left of the screen. Be sure to follow the directions--particularly regarding photo sizes and formats--otherwise your photos will be distorted.

Tip of the Month: Selecting the "Contact Us" button on the navigation bar allows you to send an E-mail to the magazine editor or the web editor, order a subscription or report a problem, and purchase a back issue of a magazine.

Tip of the Month: To update your password e-mail address, or other personal information, click on "Customize Updates" just to the right of the magazine logo on the home page. Enter your current user name and password, then once the page displays, you can update your stats.

Tip of the Month: Be sure to correctly size and format your photos before you upload them to the Readers' Rides section. Otherwise, they will not load properly or will appear distorted on the site. The photos must be JPEG (with the .jpg extension) and must be sizes as indicated in the Upload fields (100x70 and 320x240 pixels).

Tip of the Month: To update your password e-mail address, or other personal information, click on "Customize Updates" just to the right of the magazine logo on the home page. Enter your current user name and password, then once the page displays, you can update your stats.

Tip of the Month: If you click on "Part of the Automotive Network" at the bottom of the screen, you’ll find links to more than 40 other automotive sites, including (insert a relevant magazine here) and (insert a relevant magazine here).

Tip of the Month: We've added a new Performance Directory to the site! Click on the button located under the left navigation bar, and a list of Categories will load. Click on the category you'd like to view, and a list of applicable web-site links will appear. Click on the one you'd like to visit, and the site will load in a new pop-up window. We'll be continually adding links to this area, so check back often!

Tip of the Month: The RaceResults pages contain a ton of information from around the world. The left navigation brings up data concerning all of the available racing series. The buttons across the top of the pop-up allow you to select specific series and specific information about those series.
Take some time to experiment with the various functions. You'll find all sorts of informative press releases, track and driver news, and even facts about local tracks. Robust indeed!
