Mild ’71-’73 Big-Block
Engines: 429 or 460
Transmissions: C6 automatic or four-speed
Rear gears: 3.25:1 with C6, 3.50 with four-speed
Springs: (front) Magna 650
(rear) Magna four leaf
Shocks: MagnaGas
Sway bars: (front) 1 inch
(rear) none (or use 351 4V four-speed sway bar or stock
bar if so equipped)
Wheels: 15x7 Magnum 500
Tires: P225/60R15 radials
Brakes: Stock for car
Options: Three-row radiator; recommend duals for all above applica-
tions; use turn-down tips for stock appearance, except on the
Mach 1 or where stock style dictates otherwise

Medium ’71-’73 Big-Block
Engines: either a 429 or 460, aftermarket 4V intake and carb and
headers, and dual exhaust
Transmissions: C6 automatic or four-speed
Rear gears: 3.25:1 with C6, 3.91:1 with four-speed; recommend
Traction-Lok
Springs: (front) Magna 650
(rear) Magna five leaf
Shocks: MagnaGas
Sway bars: (front) 1 inch or 11¼8 inch with polyurethane bushings
(rear) 3¼4 inch
Wheels: 15x7 to 16x8
Tires: P225/60R15 or P245/45R16
Brakes: Four-wheel disc, stock front, aftermarket rear, and
premium pads
Options: Three-row radiator, rear disc brakes, and engine dress-up kit
